Jeff founded Cypress Financial Planning because he had a strong desire to help individuals and families accomplish their life goals.  Driven by his passion to help people understand and benefit from the financial markets, he serves as both educator and advisor.  As a Certified Financial Planner, Jeff adheres to the highest ethical and financial proficiency standards in the industry. Prior to Cypress, he worked in the Private Wealth Management Division of Goldman Sachs in Philadelphia, performing analysis and making investment recommendations for families and foundations with over $1 billion in total assets.  Prior to this, he worked as an engineer at Lockheed Martin in Moorestown, NJ.  Jeff has a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Duke University and a Master's Degree in Financial Engineering from Princeton University.  He currently resides in West Deptford, NJ with his wife Lauren.

In addition to advising individuals and families at Cypress, Jeff is currently a professor of mathematics at Holy Family University in Northeast Philadelphia.  He is also actively involved in Habitat for Humanity and has recently completed weeklong home construction builds in Guatemala and El Salvador.  Within the local community, Jeff volunteers with and supports the social services organization Robins' Nest, Inc.
